IHO wants feedback on crowdsourcing

The IHO's Crowd Sourced Bathymetry workgroup, to which TeamSurv is contributing as an industry expert, has been working on a publication "Guidance on Crowd Sourced Bathymetry", which is intended as a guide to boat and ship operators interested in contributing to crowd sourced bathymetry. Before finalising the content, we are looking for feedback from boat and ship owners and operators.

If you have a few minutes spare, please go here to read the document and provide feedback. We are looking to receive feedback before mid May.

UPDATE: Thanks for everybody's input, the questionnaire is now closed. The responses are being collated with other feedback, for discussion at the next CSB Workgroup meeting.

Teamsurv data in Base Platform

TeamSurv's data is now available in the Base Platform data portal for the trial areas of the Channel Islands, WaddenSee, Balearics and Mauritius. This data is being made available as open data as part of the Base Platform project, and is freely downloadable by anyone who is interested, or can be accessed as a WMS layer that can be viewed online or in most GIS packages.

We will shortly have all of our processed data available in the portal, where it can be purchased for commercial use.
